Weird title yea? Its simply today's issue of the Today newspaper... And the reason i post is for the interesting article.
'Men shouldn't use latops because it makes them infertile.' ???
And its true, FYI. But only for those who put their laptops on their laps. For me i use on a table or smth. No worries =P
Hmm, now for the reasoning, when u put the laptop on ur lap, u would close ur thighs. Plus, the radiation of heat from the laptop itself. Both increases the temperature 'there', which is not good obviously... So just a suggestion not to use ur laptop on ur lap, or at least decrease the amount of time spent.

Heh... New updates...
So. Today was AVSW, a very special walk. And it was happy+gay at the first place, all the dunking & game stalls at the funfair after the walk.
Of course there's a buttt... Nearing afternoon all the stalls' business went down like skydiving. Nothing to help out at our stalls and it was seriously boring. Slack around and watch people get dunked. (the only stall with business) But must admit, not bad day. =D
Come join us next year probably. At pathlight school in AMK, and 01 Raffles Scout Group was part of the organising. (Not forgetting the advertising.)

And today is our english project meet, tired... But i dont think can be compared with the other friend. He just returned from hongkong today like 3am, straight to sleep but need to wake up for the meet. Dozed off in the mrt, went from punggol to harbour front, still dont know, sat all the way back to punggol again, till he was reminded that the train gonna terminate. -.- Sad...
Lunch at macs, and i bombed my coke. Very 尴尬 de leh, but if not for this i wouldnt have known... U could get another coke if u spilled it??? Weird but true. Next time dont feel weird if u spilled urs. XD

Hiyaaa all!!! Didnt post for a long time again... 2 days ago I just watched the naruto shippuuden movie. My ratings are hmm... Probably a nine out of ten. Pretty nice one, not losing out to the previous ones. =D
Suggested for all to watch, you can probably catch the english-subbed version on Veoh or Youtube. If desperate, probably try to find on Google or something, since I cant upload mine both due to the fansub's disagreement and the file size...

Have been photoshopping. Still v noob. =P Reading up some of those text effects and tried some myself. The first is called the 'Ice Text' while the next is called 'Gel Text'. As you can see, the first one was screwed, maybe i missed out some steps or just that i'm to sucky... Actually it should look damn cool with lines of frost coming downwards. The gel one not so bad, looks really gel-ly.

Annual Orienteering...

Well, today is our annual oreinteering. Erm, how do i describe it. Owned??? 15km run/walk/sprint, from Hougang to Sengkang, going through checkpoints... Its seriously physical torture, my legs went numb to no extent.

Though tiring, on the way still had some fun. =D

Cross Country

Our class was chosen to go for yesterday's cross country match support. Not pretty sure about the situation but we did not get any seats at the stadium. Probably under the blazing sun makes us feel the same as the runners... Motivation!!! Our cheers were not united though, the spirit wasn't really there, unlike Anglican High cheering almost throughout.
The ending part wasn't really expected, the whole stadium was totally chaotic...

Obviously it wasn't anything like a bomb lar... If not it would have been on the news! Erm, it just, sort of, rained...

It's right outside RI when I saw this van, you might not be able to see clearly whats written on the van but its actually "藤原とうふ店"(Literally: Fujiwara's Toufu Shop)... From Initial D de, can go read up about it if you don't know. Thought it was a cool idea, made the dull-coloured van stand out among all the cars waiting for people to cross the road. =P The barcode design at the window was quite random too, I like it. XD

Learning japanese helped me at least in some ways. O.o

Hope you would like this new blog skin. The old one was nice but wonder why it got screwed up, couldn't click the navigations...
The theme of this skin is Granado Espada, the online game that has been advertised madly on TV when it was released. I tried the game on the US server cos its free to play, rather than the SG's P2P version. The graphics, gameplay, background music and concept were damn cool, you get to control 3 characters at the same time, exploring the beautiful New World discovered by Granado and Espada.
I will try to get a few OSTs under the JukeBox section...

Went to Orchard yesterday and it was damn tiring... Got caught up in the rain too.(If you watched the news you would know that there's a flood in Orchard cos of heavy rain.)

Places we went(in order):
Far East--->Takashimaya--->Paragon(got stuck here cos it started to rain)--->Lucky Plaza--->(took bus)Center Point--->OG Orchard Point--->Plaza Singapura--->Dhoby Ghaut Station--->Home.

Far East: To meet my mum, drank BBT there too.

Takashimaya: Meet up mum's friend. Ate lunch at Central Restaurant and went to Adidas store. (Mum's friend decided to buy me a pair of shoes to congratulate my results.) The model I wanted does not have my size (sold out) so left disappointed.

Paragon: Checked the Adidas store here too but still, couldn't find it. Went up to 6th floor Toys R Us and bought the Rubik's cube. (Have been wanting this for a long time, Zi Harn had 1, it's real smooth and easily turned. MJ bought 1 too so why not me? With my old cube, I can complete in around 3mins, but with the new smoother 1 I'm sure I can complete in shorter time! ^^) Bought an umbrella cos wanted to get across to Lucky Plaza desperately to buy my Levi's jeans.

Still got very wet... It's just like walking in a pool of water and my feet was soaked completely.

Lucky Plaza: Dried myself a bit with tissue paper. Tried on many pairs and found my liking easily, mum got 1 for herself too. Total price above $200 so we got a planner. (cover made of denim, I'll try getting the photo.) Mine's too long so have to send for trimming, can't get back till today...

Bus Ride

Center Point: Just passed by and looked round roughly.

OG Orchard Point: Walked towards the shopping mall next to this.

Entered the shoe stall and just choose a pair finally. Although not my favourite but all the other colours were sold out.

Plaza Singapura: Just walked pass to get into MRT station.

Arrived at Admiralty and walked home.

It was not shown in the show but I'm quite sure there is...

Have you ever discovered any flaws in certain movies, shows, comics, anime, etc?
I'm listing 1 today. Doraemon is a cartoon full of flaws... It's not that hard to find some parts contradicting in the Doraemon world.
In an episode, Doraemon showed Nobita a toy people play in the 22nd century, something like a stopwatch that stops time and only allows the user to move. -.-
Nobita stopped the time and went around the town enjoying himself as everything was stationary.
So I'm wondering, if that toy really exsists in the 22nd century(in the cartoon), and 2 person stop the time at the same time, the whole world would just stop and neverafter.
Just an example, try thinking of more contradictions and write them down on the tagboard.

Duel Masters fans listen up! I've just found a DM online game created by duelzone. The game have all cards up to DM-12. You can create your deck with any cards that you want, just find the cards you want in the database and add it to your deck, then play with your friends! The game require a lot of trust though as it is not automatic, you have the execute the effects of the cards yourself. Charging of mana and drawing of card also have to be done manually, but you can get the fun out of the game if you play by the rules! I downloaded all the installation files from duelzone and wrote a read me file to give you instructions on how to install the game and join my DM network.

Funny Experience

On Wednesday, not a very special one with the 2hr long ex-PAL lesson and a really short computer lab lesson for Social Studies. I was walking home with Jem talking about Duel Masters all the way to relax our minds. As we reached the void deck under Jem's block, I just got to the interesting part of the card I was trying to tell him. As we walked towards the lift landing, I saw something black on the floor which might not attract any attention at all. Actually, my first thought was that it must be a cockroach but there shouldn't be such a coincidence, anyway, it was too late to tell Jem about it as I got enthusiastically absorbed in the conversation and had no time. Both of us took one more step forward and a "CRACK" sound was heard. Jem showed me an expression like never before. He lifted his feet and I started laughing at the coincidence, trying to tell Jem about my prediction. He was shocked at first but after that, said, "So heng sia!"

These days, I've been downloading and watching Mai Otome. It will be shown on channel 56(都会台)in I think May, you guys can catch it if you all want. The first series(Mai HiME) was quite interesting so I continued watching and supporting. OMG!!!~~~ Today i went to botak jones in Ang Mo Kio and I'm completely...... I was so full that i almost vomited. It was the first time I ever felt that fries is too much for me. Normally when I eat fries, I always thought that it was not enough.

Making Year Cakes

If I am in China during the new year period, I might be making Year Cakes!(年糕) Of course not by myself, but we will go to a factory to make it. It is not really a factory, but actually some people made their house into a Year Cake making place. We will go there with buckets of rice.(a special rice for making Year Cakes, but i don't know what it is called) There, we put the rice into a grinding machine which ground the rice into powder. Next, we pass the powder to a person in the "factory", he will add the right amount of water into the powder so that it sticks. Then it is put into a large wooden bucket where it is steamed. One of the workers will be controlling the fire, putting in enough charcoal.(It is really hard work, you will be sweating like mad sitting in front of the scorching flames!) After that comes the interesting part, the workers will transfer the steamed powder into a machine, then workers will hit it and mix it with a wooden stick.(not so thin) This is the part we usually think of when we hear about making Year Cakes where rabbits hit the Year Cake with a wooden mallet. The mixing and hitting part can be done by ourselves. Before the steamed powder is mixed, we can snatch a little bit of it to eat.(it tastes different before mixing) Then the worker, or ourselves, will push the mixed steamed powder into a hole in the mixer, after passing through the hole, the Year Cake will become one long piece travelling on a belt. Long ago, cutting the long piece of year cake was done manually, workers will pull the Year Cake and cut it so that it becomes a shorter pieces. Now, this is done but a series of blades attached to a "spinner", when the "spinner" starts spinning slowly, the blades goes up and down and cuts the Year Cake into perfectly same-length pieces. A dropper is placed on top of the spinner, it drips water once in a while so that the Year Cake will not get stuck with the blades.
As the cut Year Cakes travels down the belt, we will collect them and put them on a bamboo tray. To prevent the Year Cake from getting stuck on the tray, we will flip them around once in a while. We also help others flip Year Cakes as sometimes as they cannot do it fast enough alone. People who received help will gladly offer us some pieces to eat. My mum told me that when she was young, she went into these factories whenever she was hungry. She help others to flip Year Cakes and they will offer her with some.

Finally have time to update my blog, this is the photo i took at the entrance of West Lake (西湖) in Hang Zhou. It's winter and the lotus in the lake all withered... (except for some, i bet you can spot them! LOL) Pinetrees don't die in the winter, look at the one in the picture, it's still green!
Too bad i did not have time to take the boats, it seemed so fun although the weather is cold. (the red thing floating on the lake in the photo is a little boat) I did not enter through this entrance during my first few vistis so i had fun looking around.^^

Wow! Nowadays people like to use "summoning bags" to summon strong monster such as: crimson balrog, taurospear and werewolf! This day,(when the screen shot is taken)someone summoned a taurospear! I got killed instantly and did not get a chance to take a better screen shot with the taurospear on it. So sad...... So many people died and so many pros came to fight the monster, u can look at how the battlefield is during the fight in this screenshot!

Two days ago, I played Maple Story and got into a pq (Party Quest! Incase u don't know!)with so much hard work! My members includes a thief who wanted to be a bandit, he is lv 26! He has a lot of cash items and looked very pro.After one member died in the pq, we quitted the pq and everyone left my party except for the lv26 thief. I asked him if he wanted to help me do a quest and he kindly accepted. The quest requires a garnet(refined) and i don't have it. He helped me bought a garnet from the free market and gave me free of charge! That is not all, the quest requires 60 octopus legs and i asked him to help me fight octopus,he agreed too. He said he used 377k to buy a korean fan from free market and now he is bankrupted, I dropped him some mesos to pity him. He was so happy that he dropped all sorts of rare items, the last item he dropped was a korean fan which he bought, by that time i was just near him, I pressed 0 and z as fast as i could and got the KOREAN FAN!
